Seaways Engineering design the most innovative products in the industry including safe, simple, ultra deep-sea semi-submersibles.

My job was to create a mark that can be used as a stand-alone symbol that’s balanced and well executed i.e. well engineered. A mark that’s simple, memorable and gives Seaways Engineering a more modern identity.

The concept was to use the ‘s’ and the motion of the sea ‘abstractly together’ in one single mark. This mark represents, not only these two elements, but also precision, execution and balance. The top and bottom of the ‘s’ could also be described as being above and below sea level.

This identity won an award and is now published in the 10th volume of Logolounge.
